What to wear in spring weather
Cute Spring Outfits with Jeans
White jeans truly are a year-round staple, but I especially love to bust them out once the spring rolls around. Throwing on a pair of white jeans is such an easy way to brighten up an outfit, which honestly can in turn brighten up your entire mood!
I got this exact pair of jeans from Abercrombie last year, but there are plenty of similar styles available at a number of retailers. I particularly love the high-rise ankle straight style from Abercrombie, because they are well structured yet still very comfortable.
I have a bit of a longer torso and the rise on Abercrombie’s ankle straight jeans is great. They are a true high rise option even for us longer torso gals. I go with the curve love fit, because I have a pear shape body and tend to carry my weight in my hips and thighs. They are also of course, available in a standard fit as well. The ankle jeans are also available in five different length options, so the exact fit that you would be looking for is probably attainable.
Paired with floral prints, these white jeans give off an especially springy vibe.
Elevated Casual Jumper Outfits for Spring
I think that the best spring outfits are easy, comfy and cute. Well, let’s be real with ourselves. The best outfits in general are easy, comfy and cute regardless of the season!
A jumper is similar to a dress in that it is such an easy throw on and go option. I especially love to wear full length jumpsuits in the springtime. They are comfortable and breezy, but the long length adds a layer of fabric for a bit of warmth before the scorching hot summer temps roll in.
I have mentioned it before, and I’m sure that I will mention it again. I especially love floral prints in the springtime. This full length romper is a poly rayon blend. It comes in several solid colors, but of course I chose to go with one of the few floral options available.
It is one of those pieces that you almost feel guilty about wearing in public only because it is so comfortable that you might even consider wearing it as pajamas! I layered a crochet bralette under it, so it truly felt like loungewear! It is, however, a completely put together outfit. The best part is that the romper has pockets! Also, the straps are fully adjustable. So, you can lengthen or shorten the neckline as you see fit.
Another adorable and flirty option that also has pockets is this cotton and linen blend romper. The product images on Amazon make it appear as if it is a full pant length option. However, I am about 5’6” and it fit more like a capri length on me. The material on this one is a bit more prone to wrinkling than the floral option that I shared. That is nothing that a good steam can’t take care of though!
I’d like to note that I wash both of these rompers in the delicate cycle in my washing machine. I do not apply heat to either of them. I either tumble dry on no heat or I let them hang out to dry. Despite the bit of extra care the two jumpsuits require, the ease and cuteness of the outfits that you are able to create with them totally makes it worth it. Both options also happen to be under $50, making both of them extremely affordable options!
Flirty Boho Spring Outfit
Because this post is all about affordable spring style outfits, I thought I would include this outfit from Shein. I will be honest, Shein is a guilty pleasure retailer for me. I don’t shop there often, but sometimes the prices are too good to pass up.
The main thing I don’t love about the retailer is that I’m not sure where the clothes are sourced from. They are not transparent about who is making the clothes or how the working conditions are. Because of this, I really only order from them sparingly.
I will say, I have had good luck with many of the pieces that I have ordered from Shein. These floral print boho pants fit nicely and paired really well with the off the shoulder top for an easy and breezy spring outfit.
